How to Install edisplay software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

edisplay software package provides fast image manipulation programs (image viewer), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install edisplay

edisplay is installed in your system.

Make ensure the edisplay package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep edisplay *

You will get with edisplay package name, version, architecture and description in a table
